Dr. Lim Swee Seng is the founder and chief clinical director of Lim Dental Surgery, offering over three decades of professional experience in Kuala Lumpur, specializing in full-mouth rehabilitation, bone grafting, titanium implants, and laser surgeries.
Primary Qualifications: Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours — BDS (Hons) from the University of Sydney, Australia (1991).
Advanced Postgraduate Degrees: Master of Science (MSc) in Implant Dentistry from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom (2010).
Professional Affiliations: Certified Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI, USA), Active Member of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, and registered practitioner with the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC).
Dr. Caroline Ling | Resident Dental Surgeon
Dr. Caroline Ling is a highly accomplished resident dentist at Lim Dental Surgery, delivering comprehensive oral healthcare across both our Setapak and Publika clinic branches in Kuala Lumpur. Known for her patient-centered care and gentle procedural touch, she specializes in stress-free family dentistry, cosmetic restorations, advanced endodontics, and complex extractions.
Academic Excellence: Graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Penang International Dental College (PIDC), earning prestigious First Class Honors (2012).
Public Health Foundations: Served for 3 years as a designated Dental Officer with the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Sarawak. During this tenure, she completed intensive clinical rotations across multiple specialized hospital departments, including:
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery: Developing advanced competencies in emergency trauma management and surgical tooth extractions.
Oral Medicine & Radiology: Mastering advanced soft-tissue diagnostics and digital radiographic imaging analysis.
Paediatric Dentistry: Cultivating specific clinical techniques tailored to children's oral safety and behavior management.
Clinical Focus & Trust: Since transitioning to private practice in Kuala Lumpur in 2015, Dr. Caroline has focused deeply on anxiety-free treatments. She is highly trusted for utilizing specialized magnification systems during root canal treatments and deploying gentle clinical protocols that ease severe dental phobias for both children and adult patients.
